The main attraction has been the detailed colour charting of harbours and supporting pilotage notes. The Handbook was relaunched as a comprehensive two-year almanac in September 2002. The coverage from Norway to Gibraltar will be unchanged but throughout the plans are being modernised, the text revised and, most importantly, tidal tables for over 40 standard ports are being published.
